Mid-March Update

We're almost half way through March and I'm here with updates for this month's art, news about the monthly polls and potential additions to my Patreon rewards!

March art updates: 

As of right now I have 7 out of 10 Full Combo sketches done, I'm just awaiting on the last 3 ideas before I start them, which may be in a week or two depending on response time. 

As for this month's 2 colored images and colored sketch sequence, I'll be posting the WIPS a few minutes after this post goes live today. 

Right now I'm currently inking both the Shantae and Ryuko's colored images. The Midnight vore sequence is also going smoothly, I have most of the panels finalized and ready to ink.

I should have the Shantae image completed first and ready by the middle of next week. The Ryuko image will be finished soon after that and I have a few alternative versions I'd like to create for her.

Finally the Midnight sequence will be completed after the two colored images are done. My goal is to have her done in 2 weeks or less, around the 28th.

If I finish all three of these rewards early I'll work on the last two colored sketch commissions I have pending and maybe a bonus colored sketch or two.

My thoughts on the belly poll:

I've been evaluating what to do with the belly poll and weighing my options. My reasons for examining it have to do with keeping the Patreon sequences and images varied for you guys. I feel that streamlining the voting and giving myself the freedom to pick the best fetish pairings for each character rather than have it occur by chance would be in everyone's best interest. Combining the winners from two polls is an interesting concept but it may be ultimately flawed, as I have seen other artists try it and later abandon it due to similar reasons mentioned above. I've looked over half a year's worth of results from the polls and found  vore, weight gain and stuffing are always top 3, save for February's surprise 3rd place winner slime inflation. Pregnancy and any other kind of option have placed far behind the other options in every poll. Vore or weight gain have been 1st place in every poll, with vore devouring the competition in the last 3 months alone. 

So in addition to vore sequences I would like to draw a full 6 panel weight gain, stuffing, pregnancy or inflation sequence from time to time with the 1st place characters. Especially for those patrons that favor stuffing or weight gain and for myself. I do feel some characters lend themselves to certain fetishes far better than others too, which is why I would feel more comfortable picking the belly theme myself.

My proposal:

If the belly poll was to cease I would select the belly type for each winning character. The top 3 favorite fetishes among Patrons (vore, weight gain and stuffing) will always be represented each month in at least 1 image or sequence of their own. Pregnancy and inflation will still appear in alternative versions and/or as their own images. The amount of rewards would not decrease if I decide to go forward with this, in fact I'm looking at adding more Patreon rewards. More information on that a few paragraphs below. 

As for the character poll, it wouldn't go anywhere, it's here to stay regardless of what happens to the belly poll. The character poll will remain unchanged save for one thing. It was brought to my attention by a friend that there is a maximum of 20 options per poll and we came close to hitting that limit this month. In case of 21+ candidates are suggested I will have to split the poll in half. This means there will be 2 polls featuring one half of the candidates and you may vote for whichever character you like most from each poll. Then we'll have a runoff vote with the top candidates from both character polls to decide the winners. If we have 20 or less characters I will still hold a runoff vote to see who places were among the top candidates.

I am interested in your feedback about this. So in an hour I'll be posting a special 24 hour poll for Medium Soda patrons and above to partake in. This will be just 1 vote per person. This poll won't dictate my final verdict but the results will be strongly considered in my decision. 

Considering adding more Patreon rewards:

I've also been considering expanding and upgrading the rewards for patrons in the Medium Soda, Big Burger and Full Combo tiers starting next month. This is all up in the air but I'm thinking of upgrading 2nd and maybe even 3rd place character winners into short colored sketch sequences (3-4 and 2 or so panels respectively) from single colored images. First place would remain unchanged as a 6 panel colored sketch sequence. If I did do that I'd make sure Small Fry patrons still receive the same amount of art as they do now. So I would make 4th and 5th place winners colored sketches or maybe even colored images if I have time to refine them. I'm confident I can take on these extra rewards with my workload so long as I plan ahead but will evaluate them further before I make a final decision. 

Any other rewards such as voting and extra votes, character suggestions, .psd files and Full Combo Tier black and white sketch rewards will not be affected and remain the same.

Lastly compensation in the form of an extra vote towards your pick in the polls for Big Burger & Full Combo tier patrons who do not suggest a character that month will stay in effect going forward.

Personally I'm leaning towards ending the belly poll, having myself pick the fetishes for each picture and upgrading plus expanding my Patreon rewards as compensation and added benefit going forward. I'll announce my decision regarding the future of the belly poll and adding additional rewards near the end of this month. 

The tl;dr

1. I'm considering removing the belly poll and picking the fetishes myself. Vore, weight gain and stuffing would always be represented each month. Later today there will be a special poll to help influence my decision. 

2. The character poll will remain the same with the addition of a runoff vote and 2 split polls if 21+ characters are suggested in a month. (Due to max 20 options per poll)

3. I'm thinking of adding more Patreon rewards, such as making the 4th & 5th place character winners drawn as colored sketches each month.1st place would remain unchanged and 2nd and 3rd place would be upgraded to short colored sketch sequences from colored images.

4. Going forward Big Burger & Full Combo patrons who do not suggest a character will receive an additional vote in the polls that month.
