Not a Chapter: Need help with Audiobook categorization

So, first of all, the audiobook for book 1 of The Legend of William Oh should be available for Pre-order March 3rd of next year, releasing two weeks later.

That being said, the audiobook people are looking for comparisons to other already published books to help them figure out exactly where to best advertise it.

So they want stuff like 'The Legend Of William Oh is like XXX but funnier/more violent/Etc.'

Or, 'The Legend of William Oh is like if XXX and XXX got together and had a mutant baby.'

My problem is I don't know enough modern stories to give them good comparisons, so I was hoping to ask you guys what stories you compare mine to when talking about it.

And yes, this is cheating on my homework from Soundbooth, but as long as nobody tells them, we should be cool.

I realize this is a bit late, but maybe you can use it sometime. My wife says "its like milk and oreos had a baby" and, "this book is great for people who have eaten peanut butter and jelly".

I’d say the tower climbing, system and abilities remind me a lot of how the Cradle series feels. I think people are comparing it with DCC as a compliment - Cradle and DCC are both “in the system, kicking ass… but there’s something external that’s going to happen”. DCC is definitely darker though. I personally disliked HWFWM past book 4, but that’s another one that leans that way. If readers like litrpg, witty/smart op protagonists and system tower climbers and competency porn… that’s where/who to advertise to imo

Xxx but funnier/bettter is bad form. Comparisons that say if you like this because of Xxx so you will like this because of Xxx are better as it lifts both parties and doesn't put another story down
