Hey everyone! Here’s the latest update on Eir of Frohdiff. So, last week, I went ahead and revamped almost all the CGs in the game. Now, the CGs will have a style similar to the anime version of Dystopian Abyss NWO.
After several failed attempts to update the fight system, I’ve decided to stick with the old one for now. I realized reworking the combat mechanics would slow down progress way too much. So, for now, the fight system in Chapter 1 will remain as the classic rock-paper-scissors style. But in Chapter 2, I plan to introduce a new combat system. Why the split? Reworking the entire fight system in Chapter 1 has been a real headache, so I’m going to leave it as is and focus on implementing the new system in the next chapter.
Also, I’m thinking about switching up the writing style in Eir of Frohdiff. Instead of long paragraphs, I’ll be leaning more into dialogue-based storytelling. I realized paragraphs can be pretty tiring to read, so this change should make things flow better and feel more engaging! The new writing style will only be implemented starting in Chapter 2. For the prologue and Chapter 1, nothing will change.
