Dorothy's Journey Update #2 (August, 6th 2024)

Hello everyone, new week, new info. Last week, I completed a lot of CG for Dorothy Journey and plan to upload it this week. The story for the next version is nearly ready. As I mentioned before, I made significant changes to the character designs, so don't be surprised.

I've also added a quest feature to guide players on what to do next, ensuring the game isn't a confusing, directionless sandbox. Now, every location you visit will have its own event, making the world feel more alive instead of being filled with blanks or placeholders. Additionally, I've simplified the map background. All side characters from the old version have been replaced with new characters, complete with fresh designs and conversations.

This version will still focus on Dorothy. Although the game is titled "Dorothy's Journey," future versions will highlight other women. The focus will be determined by a poll on Patreon, so the title "Dorothy's Journey" might seem less fitting. However, since many people, including myself, are attached to the title, I won't change it.

As mentioned earlier, the character designs have undergone a major overhaul, almost a hundred percent. This might upset some people, but that's okay, haha.

The storyline has also been revamped significantly, though the core theme of muscle growth remains. Now, each character will experience unique muscle growth through supernatural elements rather than exercise, reducing grinding and enhancing the story. This reminds me of the old Dystopian Abyss, haha.

The previous two perspectives, Dorothy's and the main player's, have been removed. The game will now only have the main player's perspective, making the sandbox easier for players to digest and for me to update. Handling two perspectives was quite challenging.
