Weekly Update! Lighting overhaul + some peeling effect on the Artist project and update to the commission intro! :)

Hello to all you lovely people <3

I had zero distractions this week so I could get a lot more done on the Artist project!! It's still the same intro bit you saw last time but there have been big overhauls on how it's looking.

The lighting is the first major part and it was a tricky thing to get looking right and I won't lie I struggled with many different lighting setups until I got one I was happy with :D I have also added loads more detail in the room and outside so it feels a lot less empty.

The final part is I got some of the peeling to work!!! I was really worried that after all this time it wouldn't work well but I'm super happy with it! It does have some issues that I want to improve though.
For now it's only applied to the bridge bit above the Artist but it will be happening the the majority of objects you see. I did two renders showing the normal stone texture and then the metal texture to do a cheeky fade transition in the GIFs above but the final version won't have that instead it will be the peeling effect on the majority of the objects.


Now for the commission I am showing the intro bit you've seen before but this has the new changes made where Freddy uses his claw to take off the slippers and to be honest I prefer it so much more! I'm very happy how it's turned out and there are a few minor errors that need to be fixed but we are moving onto the next scene next week!! So I know it's been awhile but some teasers for lewd stuff is coming!!

Some of the things I want to improve is the blades on Freddy's claw are very dark and I want to brighten them and the clothing texture for him and Elodie I want to improve a little more as there is a reflection that appears under the fluff I have on both their outfits that shouldn't be there.

That's all from me this week but I hope you like what you see, I'll be working next week on both projects but the week after I will be taking a week off for Christmas. After that week off I will be back to doing stuff though <3
