I'd recommend starting with the following albums: - Below the Heavens by Blu & Exile. (Exile has a similar production style to The Alchemist.) - When Life Give You Lemons, You Paint That Shit Gold by Atmosphere (Legendary duo from minnesota, I think you'll really like Slug's style and storytelling in his lyrics)

I’m from the UK in a little town called Newcastle where as it happens Sam Fender is from. He is a local hero around here and I’m really excited as I’m sure you are for his upcoming album. Another UK artist I can’t recommend highly enough that you guys should reacts to is Dave. He’s a rapper from London and is regarded as the best out of the UK. He is a conscious rapper and is very perspectives on politics, culture, history, uk life is next level. Daves brother is currently in prison under a life sentence since he was 18. Things like this add so much wisdom and knowledge in Dave’s rap. In the UK he is in the same level as Kendrick in terms of his storytelling and lyrical genius. Dave’s lyrics, although in some parts there will be a language barrier of sorts and a few lines might go over your head as they are pretty niche about his home and the uk, but his punchlines and actual bars are very straight forward and easy to understand yet still smart. As in people are still analysing his music and are realising there is triple and quadruple entendres. He’s also very heavy into the production side of his music and alpthugh still uses uk producers a lot of beats and piano are made by him such as ‘Black’. Anyways I would really love to hear your thoughts on Dave. I would recommend ‘Psychodrama’ as he won an award for it, and as an album it is so cohesive and the story is very powerful. His second album ‘We’re all alone in this together’ is also very good but it’s more individual tracks rather than a story than can be followed. ‘Psychodrama’ is like the UKs equivalent to ‘Good Kid Mad City’. If you want a single to listen to also I would recommend ‘Psycho’ or ‘Black’. Again thank you for this channel and this amazing community that you guys have built and really excited for what lies ahead.

I just love his west coast smooth delivery style and I really like how he talks about being healthy and leveling up your life in a positive way. It's a breath of fresh air within hip hop. His music definitely sounds best driving around with the windows down on a nice day.

He talks about luxury but in a smooth way and also likes to talk about being healthy (his brand is called midnight organic and they make clothes based on fruits like oranges.) I think his music definitely is best enjoyed when taking in the positive things and luxuries of life. Once you catch on to his "mottos" like "aye aye aye", "yeehee", "good job larry", "sock it to me", etc you'll see the vibe. He performed in Vancouver last year, was a good show live. Also "The Great Escape" collab with him and The Alchemist is better suited to his style in my opinion, so you should check it out
