Hey, joined your Patreon just to watch this one. FYI -Jennie was worried that only 100-200 people would watch their Coachella performance. They performed on the Sahara Stage, the second largest stage. It is an open-air tent which holds 44,000 standing audience and it was filled to overflowing, with people watching from outside. When they returned in 2023 they performed on the Coachella Stage, attended by 125,000 at each of their two performances (plus millions more watched in on the YouTube Livestream and it was broadcast live into Times Square, New York). 2024-12-07 03:19:28 +0000 UTComgg late to the party, but i.n did graduated from high school 3 months prior when this was filmed, so they made an episode to celebrate his graduation since the members unfortunately couldn't attend to his actual graduation due to covid/lockdown still in regulation, but they all would have gone if they could also, the ending confused all of us too lol, like what just happened ? haha, but personally, I assumed it's them in a way expressing not wanting him to grow up since he's the youngest, so him graduating is a signal of that, but obviously it's meant in a funny way, but so random loll And as some of the comments already explained, the Korean age system is different from international age, so when they said hes 21, he was actually 19, and also, I believe in Korea, in high school you graduate until the age of 19, so it makes sense and also, some idols do still attend uni, like with stray kids, most of the members or if not all has/are attending uni but online, like ik hyunjin is majoring in english, he has stated that many times, I'm just not sure if they already graduated or are still finishing their courses

As soon as you are born you are officially 1 year old and on New Year's Day (January 1st), everyone in Korea gains 1 year, no matter when their birthday is. So, even if your birthday hasnβt come yet in that year, you still get older in Korean ageβfor example, you were born in 2000. If today is *after* your birthday in 2024, your international age is 24, and your Korean age is 25 (24 + 1). If today is *before* your birthday, your international age is still 23, and your Korean age is 25 (23 + 2). but now the age system has changed to match the rest of the world. but I think they still use it because they are used to it, but on documents and stuff, it is the international age, not the Korean. hopefully i explained it well, it's complicated lolol

2024-10-07 12:01:21 +0000 UTCthis episode was filmed in the beginning of 2021 when he was 19, so he had just graduated high school three months earlier. the korean age system works differently than ours, so just keep in mind that when they say specific ages it actually means 1 or 2 years less (younger) than they say :)

2024-10-07 11:47:52 +0000 UTCoh and also, i.n was held back one year in middle school i think so he did end up doing an extra year! him and hyunjin went to the same high school and normally he would've graduated a year after hyunjin but ended up graduating 2 years later

2024-10-07 11:46:16 +0000 UTChe was 21 in korean age, hes born in 2001 so i think he graduated when he was 19 turning 20 in international age. oh and a few of the members did go to university just online, minho, changbin, han and hyunjin!! hyunjin was still in uni last year but im not sure if he still is or if he's finished it now. i think minho han and changbin did courses related to computer science and hyunjin did practical english
