2024-06-18 17:46:18 +0000 UTCa kinda condensed explanation of it: the album is called ‘this man’ which many people know about, it’s a man who appears in our dreams but we can never quite put a finger on it, we don’t know who they are, hence the “have you seen this man?” jeonghan - a fugitive who loses someone he used to love and cherish. He then conjures up the image of that person so he can live those beautiful days again. However, slowly and gradually this figment of his imagination starts to fade away and gets distorted, and so he covers it with a white sheet, he is ignoring the truth, that this isn’t real. One day, his creation escapes completely and jeonghan then follows it and chases it into other people’s dreams. that’s why in the mv so many people are falling asleep, he is in there looking for this creation of his, he is using them for this motive of his, but you can see he is losing himself in the process. wonwoo - another ‘this man’ who spends the nights searching around the city, he finds people who have trouble sleeping and takes in those emotions, making them fall into a blissful sleep. one night the lights go out in the city and people start fading away in their sleep. wonwoo enters the dream world and finds jeonghan there. idk if you remember but he ends up in a room of beds where people are sleeping. these are the people that jeonghan was using. he starts waking them up. as this is happening, jeonghan’s fantasy world starts to crumble. wonwoo touches jeonghan and defeats him by saving him from himself, putting him to sleep too, saving him from losing himself forever. it is such a cool story and they made it play out so beautifully, if you get a chance to listen to the audiobook in your own time, i really recommend it! it’s a whole thriller and there’s so many layers to everything! pledis will never beat this concept💀like wdym a whole novelist, a whole audiobook and storyline everything is SO good

2024-06-18 16:49:34 +0000 UTCnone of us expected this unit!😭but it’s honestly so cool bc they are two members where NO ONE HAD A CLUE how they would sound together, like you have a rapper with the deepest voice, and a vocalist with the softest lightest voice too but they honestly did amazing. It’s an album and the other two songs are ‘beautiful monster’ by jeonghan, it’s a cute song and the other song is ‘leftover’ by wonwoo, and it’s a ballad🥺he wrote and composed it himself along with woozi and bumzu who produced the whole album, his vocals are beautiful and so are the lyrics.
