2023-03-01 19:19:42 +0000 UTCIf you were to do this again for these artists Iβd probably listen to In the Fire- Dave (which is a track with Dave and some of UK Rap Royalty), Stormzy Iβd probably say Wiley Flow. Simbi is just all round great u can listen to anything from her. For general good UK rap Iβd tap into Ghetts tho, maybe start with Mozambique (production is insane π€βοΈ) and then tap into Knucks- Home, J Hus- Deeper than Rap, Jordy- Forty Acres. Generally for good UK music, listen to Cleo Sol- Mother. She collabs a lot with Little Simbz and her albums are incredible; definitely one of our best exports ππΎ

Stormzy's Glastonbury performance is brilliant too to understand his influence and impact on British culture. Grime is a huge part of British rap. Other artists include, Skepta, JME, Giggs, Kano. Possible to get a bit lost in it without understanding the slang and culture.. can sometimes miss the message but gotta start somewhere! Little Sims is just *chefs kiss* Nao is a beautiful singer from the UK, give her a listen too. π«ΆπΌ
