Comments

Run the Jewels

Sergio Mendez

Please react to suck it and see it is an amazing album

Evie Lambert

Just revisiting this - great acoustic covers of a few Suck it and See songs here but deffo do a reaction vid on first https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vj77WwnCdHw

ah damn, I got to the record store about an hour and a half after they opened the day this record came out and only got the tote bag. The arctic monkeys fandom is wild these days but I can't complain because they've always had that impact just not this much in Canada. Wish I got ahold of the custard yellow tho, just got the black one but new AM music is nothing to complain about. Also i love the content! i wish i could do the same with my dad but i cant crack his taste so i love seeing this kind of stuff thrown out there for at least a second hand experience. keep up the great work!:)

I can't access any of these videos not sure if Video bunny is down

I can't remember if I commented on this already but now that's the car has been out for a sec. I cannot stop listening to it. I am absolutely addicted to every song in this album and just have "I ought to apologise" and so many other parts stuck in my head all day long. I love it. There's not a single second wasted imo.

Joel Travis

Fascinating interview, feel like it answers a lot of your questions about the album :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NGipcn2OU4I

In terms of music sounding like James Bond, the podcast Key Notes (which is made by Cole Cuchna from Dissect) has a great episode titled "What makes James Bond SOUND Like James Bond?". I liked it a lot, and it definitely blew my mind several times.

Anton Andersen

If Kevin wants to get a grasp on how Arctic Monkeys are live in the post TBHC era he should check out their Live at the Royal Albert Hall album. I can only imagine it'll be a similar mix of old and new following The Car.

Kyle MacGregor

The whole thing is an absolute rip from Bowie's 'Ziggy' period for mine.

Jon Scanlon

like tbhc, this is definitely a grower. loving new things abouot each song as i listen further

I think Alex is definitely trying to explore a new genre of music. I liked the album but I wouldn't add any of the songs to my playlist. I hope whatever he does next is simular and we get to watch him find the new genre he is seeking, and how he will make it his own thing. But overall pretty good album

If you’re after acoustic Alex, please, please listen to his cover of Feels Like We Only Go Backwards for Triple J’s like a version (on youtube, you won’t find it on spotify). Would love to see a reaction to this one, maybe bundled in with some other like a versions of artistsor songs youve visited if thats something you weren’t previously aware of. Aditionally on the Tame Impala note I really hope to see videos on his other two records :)

Just commenting to bump The Last Shadow Puppets. Both albums are great but if you have to pick one, I’d go with Everything You’ve Come to Expect.
