2022-09-14 22:35:29 +0000 UTCfew conclusions (been waiting for this album so long) - on the spoken word note - i wanna be yours is massively inspired by a poem of the same name by John Cooper Clarke who is a northern british poet check that out. - for acoustic alex turner check out ‘cornerstone’ which is a fan favourite or one before their first album called ‘despair in the departure lounge’ which is incredible and when he was only a teenager. - feel like kevin would love to know most of the high pitch harmonies are from the drummer which is insane - i just love how he creates these ‘end of the night, drunken monologue’ lyrics. Like he’s in an afterparty in LA feeling lonely and like a rockstar simultaneously. okay sorry love u guys x
