I was lucky to see them on their reunion tour in 2014 and they did a medley of Aquemini, Mainstream, and some other tracks (I’m blanking on which ones) and that medley gave me a whole new appreciation for those tracks. It was utterly sublime. They had a live band and when they played SpottieOttieDopalicious I lost it haha. I played trumpet in band in my school days and was just in awe at how seamlessly the horns fit in the song both recorded and live. Their performance was like I was watching them in ‘98. Amazing energy. Can’t wait to listen to their other albums with you guys. I’m also excited to listen along to Jay Z with you guys, too. I need to dive back into his albums again and this will be a great way to do it!

Waiting for you guys to get into more Chicago artists besides Kanye. Im biased of course being from here but we have so many. Kevin is already familiar with Ye, Common, Twista, and a few others over features he has come across. But between, Saba, Chance, Vic Mensa, GLC, The Mind, Mick Jenkins, Juice Wrld, Eryn Allen Kane, Raven Lenae, Chief Keef, Lil Durk, G Herbo, The Cool Kids, E.W.F, Lupe Fiasco, Omen, WE ARE STACKED and the soul/jazz and dance inspired sound of old Chicago is great.
