I was so worried you weren't going to show your dad yeah, that would have been a straight up human rights violation.

Elijah

shit that's been one of my most played songs year after year since it came out and it's still just as painful as it was the day he died.

Connor, it would have been a bit early in your hip-hop listening, but after hearing you both talk about Sir Michael Rocks on 'What Do You Do' I feel like you should explore his previous life when he was just Mikey Rocks. He was one half of The Cool Kids, and their EP 'The Bake Sale' they released in 2008 was a huge fucking deal in hip-hop. Critically acclaimed, and a perfect blend of 80's and 90's boom-bap with the cultural references of the time. He met his producer/partner, Chuck Inglish, on MySpace when he was searching for beats, and the rest is history. Chuck was undoubtedly the more talented of the two, but Mikey was dripping with a level of cool few have ever attained.

Gonna need a mop for the tears when perfect circle/god speed plays 😅😅

If we’re doing backwards through Mac I can’t wait for you blokes to do Good AM

I was 20 when I found Mac in 2010, he had just released the 'nikes on my feet' video. I remember goin to my younger sister, who share my passion for hiphop, and telling her this miller mac dude is goin to be huge. a couple of years later she got to see him perform with lil wayne in Sweden. I just thought mac was so good, even at 17, and it was such a pleasure to watch him grow, experiment and get better. But fuck, when he left, it was like a friend had passed. I'd spent so much time just hanging out with this dude, listening, laughing and crying. P.S. I feel like you guys should watch some Music videos, at least here on Patreon. Just a selected few, that might add to the experience. Like kanyes runaway. Kendrick have a bunch. Or Dang! on the Devine feminine. Or even Diablo on this project. D.S. - M

I still remember the day this album came out. Remember it was the summer of my freshman year in high school and the cool older kids said they’d let me smoke weed if I brought them food (lol). So I grabbed my trusty skull candy earbuds and started the 10 mile run in the rain while Faces carried me along. When “Rain” came on I almost stopped dead in my tracks because it fit my surroundings so beautifully. I miss Mac, I miss adolescence.
