However, there is a very interesting game of words. Ulya is a roe deer. In Russian the roe deer sounds like 'Kosulya'. And Soyuzmulte wanted to outplay this sound combination, so they took 'Ulya' from 'Kosulya'.
There was a cartoon series called 'Nu pogodi' filmed by Soyuzmultfilm long time ago. There was a world full of antropomorfic characters (looooong before Zootopia =D). The series was closed long time ago too. Now Soyuzmultfilm is going to make a reboot of some sort. And they have added few new characters. One of 'em is Ulya.
More info will be in final version ;-)
