One day, after using your feminine wiles to convince a stuttering guard to allow you to go to market on your own, you find yourself captured by a motley crew, and awaken to find yourself on - a pirate ship?? The captain, a beautiful yet hard, intimidating woman, tells you that you are being held hostage, only to be released when your father delivers your ransom.

After the initial outrage and fear, you can’t help but feel wildly curious and enthralled by your predicament. You have been fascinated by pirates from a young age, something you have had to keep under wraps due to your father’s near-excessive hatred of them. Never having been a demure person, you respond to the captain’s constant queries and commands with smug defiance. Perhaps ill-advised. But for some reason, you feel instinctively that, despite her harsh attitude, the captain is not a cruel woman, and she would not hurt you… which makes you desperately interested to know how far you can push her.

Turns out, your behavior DOES at least prompt her to irritably put you to work on the deck and in the kitchens. Surprising everyone, you take to the work with enthusiasm - in the week that follows, your snark and sheer audacity warms up the majority of the crew to you. But someone is not altogether pleased by this turn events…
