"The Things We Do For Love" [WIP Update 1]

And here, finally, is the work in progress so far on my new comic project featuring Kihrae and Catalyna. I also included a quick drawing of Kihrae I did as a warmup for this project.

This first page is close to done, and since it went pretty quick and I still have time left before the end of the month, I'm going to do a second page as well before I go back to work on Tuesday. So you can expect the final versions of both Page 1 and Page 2 sometime this weekend, or possibly Monday. I'll also share another WIP update before then.

After finalizing the script and putting together a very rough storyboard, I realized this comic is a lot longer than I originally anticipated: It's going to end up at 15 pages. For reference, When Fighting Monsters was 4 pages and took roughly 3 months for me to do.

I really don't want it to take me a full year to finish this one, though, so I'm going to be looking at options that'll allow me to put out more pages, faster. This could mean occasionally replacing my regular SFW posts with comic pages instead, but we'll see. Before making any decisions, I want to wait until I've settled back into my regular schedule and have a few more pages out, and have a better sense of what I can and can't get done with the time that I have.
