My old one piece story, where the mc chokes a crocodile to death, then gets stabbed to death, wakes up on initially what is Little Garden with a crocodile corpse that then turns into a devil fruit. Ironically, some of the new information regarding devil fruits works for a good explanation on how he got there.

Anyway crocodile zoan one piece story. Initially, it was supposed to be a light and easy story of joining the Straw Hats, but then I kinda lost interest in that route after it was revealed Luffy's fruit was actually a god fruit and that it would have actually awakened at any point when he died and the cartoon physics on top is a major turn off, it honestly ruined the Kaido fight for me, it took all the seriousness out of it. Kinda drained the tension for me of any fight Luffy was actually in, because at any point where he actually did die in the fight, he'd jump back as cartoon god man.

I reworked the plot at the time, though my one piece muse was distinctly lowered because of that crap, to a change where the mc would form his own crew after training on Little Garden and leaving it behind via Geppou after re-creating the Rokushiki, which apparently aren't all that hard to learn if you know how they work and have the physical ability. Fun fact, Coby's entire training arc, where he goes from midget twig wimp to jacked and capable of using the rokushiki and his fight with Luffy at Water 7, was a period of 40 days. He legit done all that, in less than two months.

The initial plot re-work woulda seen him dealing with Arlong, picking up Nami as his first crew member, helping Vivi.

But then my muse died for one piece and it got left alone for ages. 

Recently I was thinking of how hard Yamato is to write into a story early on, and then I just came to the realisation that if you can't bring Yamato to you, you go to her. Though of course, that is pretty hard in itself.

Except if you're a big crocodile man who coincidentally runs into Kaido jumping off of a sky island trying to kill himself while drunk and then gain said mans attention by being a big crocodile man, get your ass kicked when he turns into a giant dragon and drags you off to join his crew, Kaido is big into stonks like that.

The general idea behind this version would be forced into being on Kaido's crew initially, all the while getting strong to leave and working the way back. Starting out in the new world, helping Yamato, escaping with Yamato, going back through the new world to paradise, probably stopping in Dressrossa and grabbing Rebecca while at it. Cuz yeah, fun fact, I love me some Rebecca. General theme there would be princesses I guess? Yamato, Rebecca, then Vivi. I also love me some Vivi.

Lewdamone has some real good one piece art, you guys should give him a look. I think he has a patreon as well. Or at least a pixiv fanbox.

And then there was the...Crocodile King path. Specifically, still on Little Garden, the mc would instead leave later and meet Vivi before the Straw Hats, and then help her deal with Crocodile in return for her marrying him and making him King of Alabasta.

The other two routes were pirate adventures of varying intensities with the Yamato route being hard mode cuz Kaido is out to get them, the king path is more a kingdom building path, where among other things the mc would give Vivi Crocodile's fruit after killing him.

I'm interesting in seeing what story path you guys would be more interested in seeing.
