But what region did you prefer? And with what main poke-girl?
And yes I did exclude Alola with Lana, Mallow and Lilie and Gen 8 with Chloe. Cuz, let's be honest, those are the death of the anime. and the only good ones are Mallow as best girl in Alola by far and Chloe for cucking Goh.

To be honest in any poll I’ve seen similar to this for a Pokémon story dawn never wins shes top 4 always but never wins. I will be honest I prefer May and I don’t really know Dawn was so popular. It’s usually Serena that wins or one of the female game characters like kris or Hilda/Rosa. So I was pleasantly surprised to see dawn win for once

Plus, I really liked the outright shipping of Ash and Serena, it was also the only gen that was making it so obvious(Fyi, Misty doesnt really count because there are some moments where the voice dub had to change the characters' lines in order to force some shipping to happen between the two unlike the original that showed that there wasnt anything romantic going on). I saw it in a youtube vid once(Cant remember the name). Also, I think the X and Y gen had the best art style!

Also I don't know the anime all that well I think I stop watching it in like the second or third season I only know about the other regions and seasons of the anime through hearsay and the games.
