October Update
Added 2022-10-01 11:27:21 +0000 UTCSpooky month, finally! I'm glad to see the back of September this year. It started off well, with us rescuing a Bearded Dragon when the previous owner wasn't able to look after it...
But we needed to take her to the vets when she didn't seem well. There they found a lump.
Then I managed to catch COVID halfway through the month, which took a couple of weeks to get over (it took a lot out of me and I'm still trying to recover my energy levels).
When our Bearded Dragon went back for surgery, the vet discovered that the lump was a tumour and recommended that she didn't wake up. We were absolutely devastated but there was nothing we could do to save her, especially as she had the lump before we got her.
We only had her for a month, but her personality made a big impact on our hearts, and we will miss her dearly.
As you would expect, my work has slowed as a result of this, and my initial plan for this month's special needed to be changed to something simpler. I'm amazed I even managed to get last month's stuff done.

2022-10-01 14:05:47 +0000 UTCReading about the short time you both had with your beardie and impact her personality had on you both reminded me of my own late beardie. She too had lively personality and was a stark contrast to her predecessor. I hope you are all doing well.
