Hi everyone. It's time for another “What's Next” update blog. I am writing this blog a little early this time, which mainly has to do with the rule changes coming to fanbox. If you aren't aware what I am referring to, then you can read up on it here: https://osart.fanbox.cc/posts/4776154
And the actual rule changes here: https://www.pixiv.net/info.php?id=8789
Due to these new rules I will have to remove most of my old art from fanbox, all of the art that features Konohamaru and Kushina, for example. I even have to remove the Naruto and Kushina pictures, even though those are drawn in a way that makes Naruto look very much like an adult. That's because even incest fan art will no longer be allowed.
So what does this mean? Will you no longer be able to get these pictures? Will they disappear completely? The answer to all of those questions is, no. No, they will not disappear completely, as I am going to make sure you can get them in another way, if you are interested in the old art. For starters, I am going to create three new blogs which contains old art in zip files. One blog will be all old art, which will be available for jounins. The second blog will contain all my comics, which will also only be available for jounins. The third blog will contain the old art and comics which has previously been shared with chuunins.
I am doing this for two reasons. One is that we don't know how hard fanbox is going to regulate these new rules. By adding the old art in zip files, the actual fan art won't be visible in the blogs. The second reason is that it is much easier to make those blog posts, with all the old content in it, private and public. If fanbox doesn't want me to share it that way, I can just make the posts private. I am also considering leaving those blog posts private for the bigger part of the months, but making them public at the end of each month or something along those lines. Maybe I can make them public on request, when a new supporter wants to get access to them.
Another option is to find another site where I can upload them into some kind of archive. It would have be to a site where such content is allowed, and where I can either password protect the archive or find some other way to keep it away from public, as these pictures are still only going to be available for fans on fanbox.
I'm starting with these three blogs on fanbox though. Whatever happens, I promise you that you will always have access to these old fan arts somehow.
When it comes to new art, I am for the most part going to keep doing what I have been. I may draw a little bit more safe for work art than before, which is going to be art that is inspired by my fan fiction stories. You can still expect to get pretty much what you have been getting in the past though. When it comes to new art of things that won't be allowed on fanbox, such as Konohamaru and Kushina, I will simply just not post a line art preview of it here on fanbox. Instead I'll upload it on that other site once it's done, and maybe even in a zip file here on fanbox. I think that as long as I keep this kind of art away from the front page, and away from pixiv, it's probably going to be just fine.
Let's say that I do get warned about the old art blogs, or one of the new pictures I have shared in a zip file, what will I do then? The way I see it, that will give me no other choice but to keep that kind of art away from fanbox completely. I'll just have to upload it all somewhere else then, and let you guys know where to find it.
In my previous blog, where I talked about these changes, I mentioned that I was going to finish this comic before these new rule changes are implemented to fanbox. That is still the plan, however, if I do not finish it before that, then I will still obviously finish it with the Konohamaru and Kushina part of the comic still being a part of it. The same thing applies to this comic as it does with the new and old art that I talked about above. With that said, my main focus during the first two weeks of December, is going to be to finish up this comic. I really want to get it finished so that I can move al ong to new projects.
When it comes to my fan fiction stories, I don't think I need to change much at all. I already have a disclaimer at the start of each chapter, mentioning that the age of all characters has been raised to at least 18. The only thing I will have to do with my stories, is to remove some of the fan art that I have added into the "Teacher and Student" story, which may break the new rules. Or I can hide them in zip files and leave them in the same place in the chapter. Either way, I don't think removing the fan art or not from the stories are going to affect them very much. I can always draw new fan art which won't break the rules. I can also edit some of the already existing art, such as the one with Kushina dancing for Konohamaru, as he sits on a couch in her living room, watching here. I can simply just remove Konohamaru from the picture, if it becomes a problem.
During November you have already seen one major change when it comes to my story "Sinful Tales of Konoha". The story is now available to read on fanbox, and you will get to read new chapters of this story, one month before everyone else. This story got a whooping four new chapters in November, with two of them being chapters that was written after this change was made. The last two chapters are the ones that is only available for supporters on fanbox, a month before I post them on the public sites.
I made this change for two reasons. One is that I always want to post a minimum of one new chapter on fanbox each month. In previous months, that only applied to the "Teacher and Student" story, but now it's going to apply to any of my stories. Some months I might even just write a one shot, which is a stand alone chapter which has nothing to do with either of the stories, if I come up with something interest. An example of one shot chapter, is the Christmas chapter I wrote last year, where Kushina gives Konohamaru a special Christmas present. Anyway, whatever I decide to write about, what is important is that I want to have something new for you guys to read every month.
The second reason why I made this change has to do with something I have talked about in the past. When it comes to writing, it's very easy for the writer to get something called a "writer's block". A writer's block is where you get stuck at a certain part of a story, or can not for some reason think up anything interesting to write about. It's kind of like all your imagination and ability to think about the next part of the story, somehow disappears. It's very hard to force yourself to write something when you don't know what to write about. That has happened a lot for me while writing both of my stories. By making new chapters exclusive to fanbox supporters one month before everyone else, it allows me to write about whichever story that I have new ideas for, which has really helped with the writer's block issue. Especially lately, as I have been in the mood to write new chapters for the Sinful story all the time, and always come up with new ideas. There are some really naughty things coming in the future, some of which you might not have expected at all.
What can you expect in December in regards to new chapters? First of all I have a Christmas special chapter from last year that I never finished writing. That is something I might finish this year. Then you can expect at least one new chapter of one of my main stories. But considering how I want to write all the time now, I would say you can safely expect to see more than one chapter in December.

Once I make the blogs containing all the old art, I will also remove the old posts with the fan art in them. You will have to get the old art from these new blogs. It's going to take some time to get these blogs done, since I will have to do a lot of organizing and categorizing, in order to make sure that I find everything and share the right thing for the right pledge roles and so on. It's also going to take forever to upload it to fanbox, as uploading just a zip file of 100 MB usually takes around 10+ minutes. There is also a limit to the size of files you can upload, which makes it even more of a pain to upload. I intend to get these blogs up sometime early in December though.
A summary of what is coming next in December. First you will get the blogs containing the archives of all my old art. Then my focus will be on finishing the "Minato's Wedding Surprise" comic. You can also expect to get the same kind of fan art that you have always gotten here on fanbox, featuring our favorite unusual couples. You can also expect to get some new chapters of my main stories, and maybe even a Christmas special one shot.
That's all for now! Let me know in the comments below what you think of these changes, or if you have a suggestion on what I can do differently. As always, thanks a lot for supporting me here on fanbox :D!
