This and the episodes after are so frustrating because Ryan Murphy is such a disgusting scumbag for twisting their story in this way. It was so obvious he wanted to make the brothers look like liars even though he said he believed them and hope they get justice. What a piece of shit. Don't let this sway your idea of them, they are still victims and the creators of the show only wanted to make this dramatic, controversial, and sensationalized sexual abuse which i find incredibly disgusting. I hope you react to the documentary after this, you'll see the truth. Thank you for your reaction though.

2024-11-22 23:51:24 +0000 UTCOh man, here we go with this episode. What makes me the most angry is how deliberately they tried to sway the viewers to believe they’re lying. They tried to make a mockery out of their abuse by adding ridiculous scenes. The conversation about whether they’re lying or not between Jill and Leslie never happened, moreover we know for a fact Lyle didn’t practice his testimony, Jill preferred to have real emotions on the stand and if you watch his testimony they recreated, it’s gut wrenching. The Norma tapes are a whole other conversation, creators of the show clearly took whatever parts of the conversation out of context they needed to fit it into a narrative of Lyle lying, he literally threw his life at Princeton with his girlfriend and a new condo away just to save his little brother. Tho, I have to admit he was an arrogant college kid on those tapes, he’s his father’s son after all. But those tapes didn’t have that big of an impact as they’re trying to portray here. He was talking to Norma and trusted her as a sort of escape or to still keep his dignity (?) I presume after being so vulnerable on the stand. (Was a stupid move, yeah) It took the boys months of therapy sessions to open up. And again, they could’ve used so many testimonies of abuse backed up by multiple witnesses instead of wasting time on all of this speculation. Thank you for the reaction! 😊 waiting on the documentary. There’s actually another series on this case Law & Order: True Crime. And they had done a much better job at getting the story accurate
