Oh, and because this is a different timeline, Apocrypha never happened. Meaning that the familiar faces are still fine and doint their own thing. Sisigo is still doing his mercenary-necromancy stuff, Caules went to the Clock Tower while his sister is still crippled and the head of the family, etc...

Also, to clarify something, this anime takes place just before the 5th war of Fate Stay Night. Thats why Waver is trying to secure a spot and become a master. In this episode we see the 2 masters that the Association sent. Atrum, the original master of Caster who dies as you know, and Bazett, Lancer´s original master. Kotomine kills Bazett before the 5th war oficially starts and steals Lancer for himself. So, yeah. This anime takes place just before FSN starts.
