The Khimera Herald - Jan 2024 (Monthly Update)

Hello everyone, it's been a long time since we did one of these!

I'm going to try to communicate more with our Patrons and really connect with the community as much as we can in 2025.

A lot has happened in the past few months and while Skidd and I are still recovering, we want to get back on schedule with everyone. So, here's what we plan on trying to accomplish this month. If for some reason anything changes - as we're still in the midst of IRL stuff - we will try to let everyone know in advance. Usually, we will try to make this up the following month.

First and foremost, any Patrons are welcome to join our Discord - The KhimeraKord !  The best way to talk with other fans, share your work and speak with us, the creators.

Secondly, Skidd and myself will be trying to bring back Ask UberCast - an Ask Me Anything Character Patreon Bonus. We will open up suggestions here on Patreon. You can submit your questions for any character in the comic then.

We will try to do 2 AUC submissions a month.

Next, we will be doing our Monthly Art Jam this Saturday, January 11th @ 4pm CST. Over on our Piczel channel .

Patreon OC Request Stream will be held January 12th @ 4pm CST over at Piczel.

Skidd and I have also been using Twitch more, we will sometimes do SFW streams there along with playing games - so that's a fantastic way to hang out with us some more. We also sometimes chat about the comic.

Comic Updates - Finally, we've wrapped up the very long Chapter 7: Lock and Key, I believe this is about our longest chapter to date. We will have a short Intermission series of pages before beginning Chapter 8: A Legacy of Scars

We've been busy doing extensive thumbnailing and have 19 1/2 pages sketched out! As always, if we get pages done ahead of time we will post them here first.

Lastly, we are going to try to start up Sketch Packs once more, if we can. Those will be released at the end of the month so keep a look out.
