Tyche's Home Workout

Since getting back from Faerie, Tyche has seen some changes. She's no longer as damage resistant as she once was, but she recovers much faster. Despite her new healing factor, she bears a scar from her time in Faerie and even her innate glamour cannot hide it. Her reflexes have increased as well; although she's still technically within the realms of human possibility, her body awareness at a physical level is now essentially flawless, making her seem superhumanly agile.

The fae removed the alien implants in Tyche's brain, resulting in her being temporarily cut off from full awareness of her heightened senses, although she still gets flashes as her brain tried to reconnect the neural pathways to all of her superhuman senses. Most of the time, she functions at peak human efficiency, but the flashes can be unpredictable. Sometimes, they boost her to the point that she can predict and react to events before they happen; other times, they overwhelm her and leave her all but paralyzed from sensory overload.

Leaving behind the physical changes, return to real life hasn't exactly been a bundle of hugs. While most of Dream Haven doesn't even know Tyche was missing, thanks to the efforts of Amelia Daniel and Molly Bailey, getting back into the routine of working medicine by day and crime-fighting at night has become virtually impossible. While her financial empire is still almost in the same condition it was in when she left, several errors have resulted in her money being largely tied up and unavailable in the short term, save that needed to keep her clinic functioning- which is a significant investment, since she also had to invest in a number of top-quality medical devices to replace what she used to be able to do with just her enhanced senses.

She's lost her boyfriend, James, who was turned into an alien-hybrid. During her time in Faerie, under Ranga's tender care, Tyche was tortured by a Muerte for weeks in order to extract information from her for Lugh. The sight of her former lover wearing their face was too much for her and, regretfully, she broke up with him. On the rebound, she fell into the arms of her rescuer from Faerie, a woman with whom she'd been building considerable romantic tension over the years: Arachnia.

Finally, Tyche has abandoned her secret identity. Fortunately, partly because of her vast fortune, partly because she is an incredibly popular superhero, and partly because she has never been connected to any murders- and all of the assaults she'd been accused of resulted in criminals abandoning illegal activities or getting arrested- Tyche was assigned community service (code for being on call whenever the MRT needs her) and allowed to remain free on her own recognizance, provided she registered with the DHPD.

Finally back in her own home, Tyche has returned to training in her home gym... and looking good while doing it!
