2025-06-20 08:21:39 +0000 UTCAs much as I enjoy the subs - I have to admit, not being able to understand the language and therefore not understand where certain words have been pronounced with inflexions or accented, sometimes make it tricky to understand what is being conveyed (in longer conversations). Whilst I admit sometimes the dub does a bad job of translating the text and meaning can be lost, I find a somewhat more emotional connection with the characters as a result, but this is just a personal thing, and I will often watch shows in both sub and dub :D
