As much as I’d love to have you binge like crazy, ultimately you’ve got more important responsibilities so definitely prioritize your health/normal job and what not first. As far as other anime go I’m not normally into the more light hearted ones so I can’t give super great recommendations for that 😅. Maybe frieren? It’s emotional but in a different way so I’d say it’s not dark/hard to watch. If you want to turn your brain off and just enjoy something, solo leveling is great too, but you’d basically just watch it for peak fight scenes and “aura”. Maybe spy family could be a good light hearted one? I haven’t finished it yet but it’s pretty cute and silly so far. I guess one other that I’d recommend would be eminence in shadow. It’s… unique. It knows it’s cringe and fan servicey and fully leans into it. So it could be your cup of tea, or you might hate it lol. But it would be one where you could mostly turn your brain off again. And for when you’re ready for dark stories again, 86 is my favorite underrated one. The anime ends after volume 3 of the light novel (13 so far) but it’s still good and not a cliff hanger so if you don’t want to read afterwards (I’m currently going thru them) then you don’t have to. You’d want to go into that one pretty blind though. Vinland saga as you mentioned is pretty good too, but imo it’s a little more hit or miss for some people. Jjk is also good but I think you mentioned that you had read that one already. If you haven’t tho, it’s a good one but it takes awhile to turn from good to amazing. But those are the main ones I’d recommend. There are other ones that could be really good and could bring in viewership due to popularity but it’s either been long enough since I’ve seen them that I don’t remember much or I never got around to them. So I’ll leave it to others to talk about those.

I hope they are absolutely ruthless as you are in peak spoiler territory here, and even the best commenters find it hard to resist a soft hint in one direction or another. This is such an amazing episode. Like you, the Reiner near-death really got to me. I was thinking ‘first Marco, now Reiner, by Episode 20 all we’ll have left is Mikasa and Levi’. Reiner is indeed an absolute top-tier fighter. In the manga the rankings were: 1. Mikasa 2, Reiner 3. Bertholt 4. Annie 5. Eren 6. Jean 7. Marco (RIP) 8. Connie 9. Sasha 10. Christa I’m not sure if the anime ever gave that specific list. So far we’ve lost two. Marco and Annie, although admittedly we only ‘lost’ her to the Military Police. Can’t wait for more!

It probably doesn't want to engage in battle unnecessarily.
