Daily sketch #178 // Mistress

Hey guys!

Turns out we can't have nice things and that the creator of Inktober has copyrighted the event and claims rights to all pictures done for it, as well as seeks legal action against anyone who would dare offer the prompts as commissions etc. With this... I am sad to say that I won't be supporting this event by devoting my time to make it's prompts :(
I'll probably come up with a list of my own next year (like I used to before my baby arrived) and then we will have some fun with it!

For this month I will continue experimenting with this B&W style and see where it takes me. Slice of life scenarios are off the table, but you can be sure to expect more suggestive or dark sketches, as I explore what is possible to achieve with this seemingly simple style! :)

Hope you enjoy these and we will be back to regular sketches next month <3

I think you know who this curvy lady  is!

Yeah, this is so typical. A person 'starts' an event, usually by coming up with a name and thousands of others go out there and make it popular because it's free (and let's face it -NAME-'tober' for events was invented back in the 70's) and once that 'event' becomes popular, they lawyer up so they can make money off of it. (But hey, what would you expect from a guy who plagiarizes other people's work?)

John Van Stry

Whaaat? I thought after the shitstorm last year he took that back!? Guess since Alphonso Dunn accused Parker of plagiarizing his book, "Pen and Ink Drawing" - and the pictures AND descriptions are really 1:1 - Inktober is quite dead.

Sucks to hear about the event Lana, but great job on this! Loving the black and white, a fun change of pace. Seeing more Elsa is a lovely treat too as always!

Why would I want to support a creator and an event like that, by using it's prompts? Nah, I don't want anything to do with this person and event :( I'll just do my thing and make sure I'm happy with it ^^

A shame that people go the extended lenght to capitalize on such things. But wouldnt you get around by just not saying the name ?
