Added 2021-08-12 11:13:05 +0000 UTCEvery once in a while when I feel like it, I make a redraw of one of my oldest anthro Nero sketches. He was first turned into an anthro in 2016 and man, was he scrawny. I can't believe I used to draw like this and looking at my style evolve with this artwork is truly wonderful. Also, not to mention how he evolved.
Look at his grumpy cute face with a super small cranium and enormous jaw, I fucking love that guy!
Also, the two middle arts were done just 4 months apart. It seems incredible to me, looking back at them now!
Up towards the end of 2018 he got more handsome, only to deteriorate into what he is now, in 2021. And I am loving him more than ever before. also I have to say his current posture suits him so much better than the ripped look he used to have.
From head scratching, to backpain. Lord, I love him so much.
I look forward to redrawing this in 2 years time. By that time he will be a constant feature in the comic, so I expect he would evolve even more! I'm curious to see where he goes!
