Get less for more? Need opinions!
Added 2020-12-25 12:52:51 +0000 UTCFor a while now I have been thinking about making things easier when it comes to tier rewards. I find more and more often that with so many tiers on Patreon I am a bit lost, I feel obligated to deliver something each month for each tier and it's a lot. Of course this is a great step and if I decide to do it I will loose a significant amount of supporters, simply because I will delete the tiers they belong to.
But with the amount of tiers I have now, I feel it's making things harder and you get access to not so many things, as I'd like you to get.
I am thinking of making just one tier or 3 tiers.
One tier would be around 5-10$ where you'd basically get everythihg i do either early or exclusive access. High resolution arts, step by step, speedpaints, sketches, voting rights, comic, concept art for comic and fanart posters, early commission slots and ych reservations. I think this sounds like plenty extras?
3 tiers would be for example (not decided yet but it would give you an estimation)
3$ comic early a month and in hr
6$ HR arts, sketchbook, votes, fanarts, early commission slots and ych reservations
10$ works in progress and speedpaints
If you'd want to support me with more, you'll always be able to pledge a custom amount and I would cherish it until the end of times!
Please let me know which of these seem appealing to you and write a comment what you think and why. It will be great help! I just want to make things simpler for you and me and to give a direction to my Patreon as well as guarantee that you will get more rewards for less :)

This was a post made 2 years ago and the changes are already made :) thank you! Before I had 6 tiers and it was frankly confusing and uncomfortable to use this many. I have reduced to 3 now and it works way better and everyone gets more rewards ^^

2020-12-25 13:16:51 +0000 UTCTry leaving your old tiers existing, but update them. I feel like I’ve seen other artists do that without deleting them. I know I’ve seen them change around what they deliver. The changes just wouldn’t take place till the next month. Then you could add in a couple more tiers if you need, without deleting existing.
