Journal Entry #3

I DID IT! I got through another day. It wasn’t the best and it wasn’t the worst. I made it.

My anxiety is severe with all the things I have to catch up on with around the house right now, so I’ll keep it short and simple today to avoid weird rambles.

Highlights of my day:

Eating a waffle for the first time in years!

Playing halo with tyler on stream, playing well and losing myself in the energy of the stream 😊

Finishing my book!! It’s been so long since I’ve finished a book in less than a week, even if the book was absolutely garbage LOL.

Doing yoga! It actually helped calm my brain for a bit and felt good to stretch out.

That hot shower just hit right, yfeel?

Remembering to write in my “journal” tonight! 🌞

Heck this anxiety man. Heckin heck.

Another day, another IBS LOL

Good job, Friv. Making it through the day, noting the positives, putting one foot in front of the other (or even on the floor next to the bed in the first place), the self care. Every day matters, but even then it's okay to sometimes need to use them to hide and heal.

I'm glad you're writing this. I'm really interested in hearing about your day. Remember to try (do as I say, not as I do) to get 7-9 hours of sleep a day and always on the same schedule. It's boring, it's annoying, it feels unnatural and restrictive, but it actually, really helps my anxiety. Being around friendly people for most of the day helps. Staying off Reddit. Drinking water and OJ. Limiting, but not eliminating, caffeine. Being consistent about meds. Hugging. Always having clean clothes to put on. Advancing life goals even incrementally. If we were able to do those things regularly most of us with anxiety and depression would actually be fairly emotionally healthy people. I can do it, and you can do it too!

Ahh yes, a hot shower is sometimes just what i need too...fixes headaches, cleans off muck, and helps with sinus issues. It's good you're keeping this going, hopefully it's helping being able to get stuff out there, all positive or not. Cos people do care!
