Drawing step by step- latex!

1.- We start with the main color, it should be dark and opaque to highlight the final shine.
2.- add a slight opaque shine to give it dimension, it will be the guide for the following shines.
3.- choose a brighter color and illuminate the areas you want to highlight, use irregular shapes! Don't be afraid of the imperfect, it will give you a more realistic effect!
4.- add a dark color in the deep areas to give more highlight to the shine! This will give more depth. You can add or adjust this step if you want a more 3D effect.
5.- with a brighter and more saturated color add glitter with irregular shapes! You can play with the intensity of the brightness until you get the desired effect!
6.-In Gimp I duplicate the main color layer and apply a "Soft Lightness", in other programs it can be a multiplication, this will add an adjusted brightness to the main color.
7.- here we will be more risky, use a more saturated and bright color and play with the lights, they must be more detailed. Play with blurring and hard edges! Don't be afraid to experiment.
8.- You can skip this step but in my drawings it is something that I apply to everything! Add a white line at the edge of the lines and apply a "soft light" or "multiply" on the layer, this will give it a more "anime" style.
9.- Use a pure white to highlight the highest areas and bright details! Try to take care of the amount of white you use, it should be for the final details, too much will look oversaturated and the latex will not look natural.
