I wanted to share the feedback I received for Playtest 001A and dates for Playtest 001B

But I just wanted to summarise some key bugs or feedback:
Frequent Bugs that should now be fixed:
player slowly falls after you finish dashing
player slowing falls if you jump vertically without any horizontal input
player being able to get under the level (inside the ground) - I think this is fixed - but please prove me wrong :)
player slowly falling when touching certain parts or sides of a platform or wall
When you dashed or did a quick movement the camera would snap back resulting in a short "shake" of the camera
Most Common Feedback:
The Dash and running are overall ok, the running felt a little fast
I haven't made any changes to the Dashing as I am considering making that something that can be upgrades or maybe class specific but the feedback provided was really insightful!
The jumping sucked (you were much nicer in your comments, but in short that was the feedback, and rightfully so haha)
Changes being implemented in Playtest 001B:
Slowed player movement by 10%
Added the ability to now hold jump for shorter and longer distance jumps
maneuverability changes to when in air after jumping (you have more control) you no longer have to wait until you reach the apex to change directions
You can now jump if you walk or run off a ledge (i.e fall first and then jump - for example what if you got knocked off a ledge, or an ability made you go over a ledge, you have a chance to recover back to a platform)
player can now jump after dash if they have not jumped already, before you could only jump then dash
falling of ledge (past the camera view i.e deathzone) has an instant respawn instead of the camera taking 1-2 seconds to snap to the player
Later when combat is introduced there will be a white hit FX - I have added this to when you fall so you know damage has been taken
Playtest 001B (The Same Running, Jumping, and Dashing Playtest - with the updates) will be available, next week - October 7th to the end of October or until Playtest 002A is ready.
