Story - First Night, Unwavering Commitment

I originally intended this to be a simple setup and delivery, but it took a dark turn on me and just kept going down the rabbit hole. Easily my longest one-shot I've written in a while. I like how it turned out, but confess it IS experimental.
It's dark, little weird, and may not be for everyone. Don't hesitate to let me know what you think in the comments. I'd love to hear from everyone.

2022-09-15 10:17:01 +0000 UTCI'm SO glad you enjoyed it! This story introduces Illeona at the VERY end. I'm almost done with a longer story that acts like a prequel to this tale and ties back to the "Bound and Fattened" world. She'll be an important character moving forward regarding the mythology.

This was a story that took on a life of its own and surprised me with where it went. I love it when my work does that. I wondered what you would think and I'm glad you ended up liking this one.

I wanted to leave some mystery here and end with a few questions. Maybe I'll do a story for each of the three nights before Melissa is claimed. Thanks for reading my work and commenting.
