Their body's response to pain beyond euphoric to most civilized species has made them a target for poachers and slavers in the wide galaxy. Traveling alone on Allied worlds can be dangerous, on Pirate worlds, it's a death sentence.
Ni'ti'uu is an exception, tending her bar beyond the treaty zone in a port station under the care of System Lord Jack Jupiter. To be such a sought-after species, they need all the friends they can get.
