Update! Tier Price Reduction and Poll Suggestion rules

However, there were some changes I have planned for the patreon, two of which will start next month.
First off, I'll be lowering the tier price from $5 to $3! Given the times I think it's a bit more reasonable to ask. I do plan to make higher tiers in the coming months with extra bonuses like maybe exclusive alts or a tier for monthly bust requests! That won't be till the summer though, but let me know if there's anything you'd be interested in for higher tiers!
Secondly, I'm making a slight change to the monthly poll suggestions. While I do enjoy my fair share of League of Legends characters, they have won the last 3 polls in a row. I don't really mind, but for varieties sake and for those that aren't in to things like that, I'll be introducing a new rule for suggestions.
If a character wins a poll, their respective franchise will go on a "cooldown" for 2 months. I just want to keep things fresh and do pics for many other series me and other patrons may enjoy.
As I get more patrons, I may have to trim down how many characters I pick for polls anyway, so this rule may go away when that happens. But for now, I like getting in everyone's submissions when I can!

2023-03-18 04:45:31 +0000 UTCThere are many more populars franchises will highly dominate polls besides LoL, Chainsawman is one of them, according to how Makima getting highly votes i won't be shocked if Power, Reze or even Himeno will getting high votes too. There are much more popular franchises. I agree for locking them up for a cool-down coz I want to see more variant types of characters. Though I think one month is better than two months.

2023-03-18 04:39:01 +0000 UTCWell, I'd like to note that it's for my own benefit too. I like LoL characters but I don't wish to do them every month, I'd get bored quickly. And I do think without this rule, I would continue to be doing LoL characters monthly. More LoL fans would come in expecting them or voting only LoL characters in polls. Especially after 3 straight months of them winning. I strongly believe that it'd compound and keep happening. And it doesn't have to be just you, as long as someone suggests one they'd be heavy favorites and that makes the polls less fun. I think have a decent sample size now to tell that it'd happen again and again unless it goes on pause. I still have a small Patreon, so I don't want to exclude anyone's poll suggestions. This rule will likely go away when I have enough patrons that'd I'd have to cherry pick 8 or 10 characters to even be in the poll. I hope you can understand my perspective on this. Again I am respectful if you're unhappy with it and understand if it'd make you or anyone else pull away from the Patreon during those cooldown periods.

And if you only want to suggest LoL characters, I won't be offended if you wish to cancel your sub until the cooldown wears off. I understand that some people only wish to see one thing, and then they leave until something else they want shows up. That's totally fine and reasonable. And knowing that I don't think I need to lock myself in a situation that will make me feel creatively stagnant with this patreon knowing other patrons of mine are happy with voting for other franchises. And again, it's a periodic cooldown, it's not like LoLs going anywhere fully from my works. I'm totally open to discussing this with you guys and figuring it out. But I hardly think that it isn't fair.

I still keep paying for next month as i support you, that's no relations between whoever win as I support your works as i love your arts. But that's not fair for me as cannot suggest the character from a franchise on next month. Still i think one month cooldown is better

The rule goes in to place next month so if you dislike that, it bares nothing on your payment this month. As well that I have given two weeks of a heads up on it. I'll think on the rule more this month, but I currently am set on it. One month cooldown may be a thing though instead

We chatted some thoughts about the K/DA Ahri fanarts later on as you asked me, I cannot open the Note function anymore that's why I cannot reply you on there for a long time. I am quite sure you already know who I am. I gave some suggestions about Patreon before you open it too. I have a few things to say. First, nice to see you are having more patrons coming in and that's good for you have many more supporters. You really deserves that as your quality got improved for many levels, as someone start to watch you at the beginning I'd say that's a great improvement here. Second, that's nothing offensive but I think the rule for LOL is too against the most important thing in any polls, that's democracy. There always have same franchise winners from other Patreons artists but they never limit for that. Democracy should be democracy, that's against people who may want to see LOL girls. Still some other users may not into it but we are all fair here. We already paid for joining here, it shouldn't be too restrictive for the franchises. Come on, I already paid for that but i cannot suggest my most favorite characters? That's unreasonable. That's not a wise choice for banning a franchise. Winning from a poll is totally different thing as that's due to democracy, but cannot suggest the characters from a franchise? That's not fair, at least to me. Also I am looking forward for the higher tiers about Patreon. More rewards please :)

However I know I'll be drawing more LoL characters in the future, so when I do I hope you'd be interested to come back and see them. I just know a good portion of my audience doesn't wish to see the same thing every month. And for my position, I don't wish to be slotted as a dedicated LoL artist. I hold a lot of love for the series, but I don't want it to dominate my catalog either. I hope you can understand, but I respect your opinions very much and understand where you're coming from

2023-03-17 14:05:58 +0000 UTCAlthough I love other series like Fate and Puzzle and Dragon, but honestly LOL paintings are the biggest reason about me to come in, I was excited and motivated forwards to join membership when I saw 2 consecutive paintings of LOL in 2 months. I think this kind of shakes me about joining the membership. Voting should be fair to any character (sigh)
