July & August Update: Discord Changes & DissidiaDB Schedule

   Hello everyone,

  It's been over a month since my last post, so I would like to apologize for the lack of updates. I originally planned to start of a new wave of Discord invitations for Mog patrons in July but the month was over by the time I finished dealing with some private matters (and a lengthy trip).

   Before diving into the main subject, I would like to announce that my Patreon goals have been rolled back to earning-based type. The recent change was reverted as I completely forgot to announce the shift towards community-based type. And I also was not satisfied at how it invalidates previous achieved goals rather than complement them.

  Part 1: Discord Invitations for Mog patrons

  I would like to formally announce that Discord invitations will be enabled for Mog patrons on August 10. Starting that date, if you haven't received a message to join our Discord server, please contact me and I will invite as soon as possible. Mog and Manikin tier rewards will be updated to reflect this upcoming change, including a distinction for Manikin patrons.

  Part 2: DissidiaDB Schedule

 As for the project's schedule in August, I plan to publish DB updates on a same-day basis whenever possible. With the JP version having 6 announced events throughout the month, there will be at least 6 DB updates from Porom LC to the 6th raid event. As for GL, since we generally have most data available earlier, I will be adding most of it in the next DB update on Saturday, and sticking to small updates throughout the month to add event images to the Event page. There will be one exception though, I currently plan to publish a separate update in mid-August to provide in-depth information about the Abyss beta dungeon.

  Part 3: What about July's additional features

  Finally, I would to provide information about the Weapon Timeline and Script Viewer features that were scheduled for a release in July. I had no choice but to delay them but I still hope to release them at least the Script Viewing feature before the end of the month. The main story's Act 2's story has been getting really interesting, so I'm dying to read it too 😅. As I've yet to input weapon data for the Weapon Timeline, please wait a little longer for that feature, I will still keep it among my priorities.

  That's all I needed to communicate in this Summer Patreon update. July's been a wild ride for me but things are starting to settle down, allowing me to get back to my plans for DissidiaDB.
