Maid to Kill patch notes

No chapter quite yet, as I had to go back and make some edits. We are only like 14 or-so chapters away from volume 1 ending, so I skipped ahead a bit and drafted out the ending chapters already. Which means I now know what exactly the ending is like, and what the path there will be like.

Which also means I had to go back and make a few changes, just to make sure things fit properly. There were a bunch of very minor things that I won't even list out, but two chapters received notably new stuff.

Chapter 52: Marie and Fayette sauna talk:

I added around 1000 words here, all over really. Just improving the overall tone and feel of the conversation mostly. Tried to make it focus more on the relevant senses and make more sense emotionally. The biggest changes are the last few paragraphs, which are new now.

Chapter 62: Final fight and justice

Also a bit over 1000 words added here, with some pretty major changes. I was a bit unhappy with the initial fight, so I changed the [Lord's] skills a bit, adding a time limit of sorts to the fight. 

The bigger changes were done to the second half, to the execution scene where Fayette meets Pierre and Marat. I changed and added a whole lot of stuff in here, in rather plot relevant ways, so this might be worth a reread. Things will still make sense without a reread though.

Misc changes

Also, I had Fayette put a skill point into [Dustsense] in chapter 58. I am pretty sure my skill point calculations are kinda majorly fucked up, but it felt like combing through the chapters only made me add more errors, so I gave up on that investigation. I trust the RR readers will notify me of the messups by the volume end.

Lastly.

Now, chapters have been a bit slow lately, as my energy has been struggling with the current arc. However, I've spent a lot of time outlining future stuff, so hopefully I can up the pace next month. I was thinking of doing a mini-writathon of sorts. We'll see how it goes. Chapter... maybe today. Next one is a two-parter really. Need to think on it a bit.

Also, we hit 6000 followers on Royalroad! Hurray! I was losing followers for a long time before the hiatus, so getting over 800 in a month with the return has felt pretty wild.
