It was wrong, very wrong of us, to change artists without giving anyone a chance to come shining through again. Some of the best artists in the fandom have the talent and experience to change their styles, character designs, etc.
Roy is a former Saturday morning and weekday cartoon animator for Disney, DIC, Marvel and others. We really should have known better than to let people talk us into changing the art...when really all we had to do was change the style. And Roy is used to doing that! He did "X-Men" in one job, and in "Gummi Bears" for another. Of COURSE he can change styles for us.
It was too much pressure to put on poor Moonabel. We wish her nothing but the best success in her endeavors, but for the time being, Roy is back on staff, and we are very excited to show you, and the comic world, just how strong "The Depths" can be.
