Comics Newsletter: 9/7/2020

Okay, so, we don’t want to make things too long that you use the “tl;dr” approach so, in a nutshell:

· As you all know, we now have a new art team securely in place for “The Depths”. Kino Jaggernov will still be doing backgrounds, and all main art, ink, color, etc., will be handled by Roy Wolverine. (a.k.a. Jim) Riffraff is going to do lettering and quick touch-ups. 

· “Insignificant Otters” can now be found on Tapas, (in order to cater to our fans who want to view comics on cellphones, tablets, and other portable machines.) https://tapas.io/series/IOtters 

We will still update on “The Depths” site as well, but we have removed links and re-routed them to Tapas. 

· After a talk with our other artist, Ralph Del Mundo, who draws “Island Girls”, we will be dropping support for “Island Girls” from here and requesting those particular fans join his Patreon, once it is established. We want our artist to be earning on his own, and he has a few other comics he wants to bring on board. We wish him the best in this endeavor. We will of course still be writing “Island Girls”. *^^* We’ll have a link to his Patreon shortly. 

· ABlueDeer wants to revisit pin-ups for us at another point perhaps next year, as he is very hard at work juggling three comics of his own, plus tons of commissions. We’ll re-draw a new marketing deal as soon as things are feasible. The same can be said for Ocean_Jewel (formerly TwistedPeppermintStars), and NastyWolf. Covid has slowed everyone’s productivity down quite a bit, so to make up for it, we will add high-resolution art from fan-art and our own purchases of commissions every month, so people can still enjoy some rewards.

· Speaking of COVID, it continues to be a big deal here in our area, as we have been self-quarantined, Riff and I, since February. But we’re hopeful all of you are doing okay and looking forward to the day we can hug each other again. ♥
