Well...
As many of you who've been around with us for a long time know, September is Madison's birth month. And after such a long time with this character, we gotta be honest... we've been doing a bit of creative soul-searching around here lately.
See, whether through boredom, or fan pressure, or whatever creative twist of fate you might cite, over the last few months we've been starting to feel like we've lost our way with the character who started all of this.
Her earliest incarnation -- a lithe, kick-ass, comic-babe brunette with a face by Revlon -- was never really meant to turn into the 3DX performer she has become here. Frankly, none of the girls were built for this... well, except for maybe Exotica.
Let's put it this way... all this working from home has had us tinkering (again) and, ultimately, yearning for those days when the three key players in the world of LCK were more... glamorous... mysterious... harder to get. Their stories were more meaningful, connected, and, frankly, more interesting, especially to us.
And you know, we shouldn't lose sight of the fact that we continue to take the voices of our fans to heart. A growing number of you have expressed concern at how certain characters have evolved over time or are portrayed in pictorials. And you know what? So are we.
So what does al this waffle mean?
Well... welcome back to the start of it all. Welcome back to a time when Madison and her half sister Eden looked more alike and were truly related, in time. Welcome to a cast of more natural beauties, inspired by beautiful women from around the world and designed to tell stories, not just flood this page with more uninteresting 3DX.
We might lose a few of you as a consequence of getting back to the heart of what started LCK in the first place, but to be honest, we're okay with that. At the same time, we hope you'll stick around. We want this page to be something more than just 3DX, as we have always wanted with our websites and Patreons of the past.
Everything Changes. But not our appreciation of you guys. You are the reason this work, these characters still exist. You inspire us to be better, and our pledge to you from this day is to provide you with work we are proud of, made with care, not just for the sake of it.
After almost 20 years, we think Madison deserves more respect. We hope you'll stick with us on her continued journey.
