Starfire and Raven Response

For those on the Comic Tier and up, how would you say you feel about the tier thus far and the content it provided? Do you like the benefits of having the pages three weeks early with one page a week?

Thank you! I will take this into account. If I’m honest I was always a little freaked out at the possibility of having to draw action sequences with the big girls but I do hope to get the confidence to draw that. As for the dialogue, yeah I do need to make it sound more natural. I can come off as someone who feels the need to explain worldbuilding and lore all the time to those who may not know but alas. Always looking to improve!

I think this was a very nice introduction to the new format! It's a great way to differentiate your content, as not many who produce superhero fanart take the extra step of creating their own stories. The art is fantastic, and the narrative is quite sweet -- maybe a bit low-key (a small cast and not a ton of action, though that's understandable with only 5 pages), but with a nice focus on character. If I was to offer a bit of constructive feedback, I wonder if the dialogue is a bit too expositional at times. It's a helpful way to establish this world of plus-size heroes and Raven dabbling in weight gain, but too much focus on explanation can diminish the sense of familiarity among characters who should be less formal with each other, like family. Obviously, these concepts are important to introduce, but they could be indicated less directly. As one hypothetical, you could start with a splash battle featuring the various Titans, perhaps with Raven visibly adjusting to fighting in a newer, larger body while Gar notices a hot dog stand or something and suggests that he could get a bunch for her later. It also often hooks the reader a bit more to see the protagonists engaged in something a bit more dramatic before shifting to the downtime where characterization and relationships take center stage. Obviously, many of your readers need no introduction to these two, but since they're original versions, it might still be a good idea to treat it as a more of a typical introduction. That's just my two cents, though! Like I said, I think this was a great start to the new tier, and I'm excited to see what else you've got cooking. :D

Not my personal preference but for what I read it was really solid
