TLDR: What Game Style/ Objectives do you guys want me to add?

Hello everyone, sorry for the long pause. Working retail in the holiday season forced me to put all of my plans on pause... but that's over now. At least for 285 days... :D

I've been looking back over my initial game level design, and arrived at a very unpleasant conclusion. Honestly, my game kind of sucks right now. It needs polish and isn't 1% done. Having said that, I also realized I have no idea how to make a unique 3d game with my current skillset, since I am only 5 months into game development.

What I'm saying is, that it's going to take time for me to be good enough at game development to make this game good, and I'll have to work very hard for it to get there. To do that though, I will need some input from you guys.

I am currently exploring and researching level design; good level design, to make each area interesting, regardless of the next.

I was thinking of adding some side scrolling (Like Ori, or Metroidvanias and other platformers). But what I really need is a way to fill the game with things that keep it from feeling empty, while also keeping it fun. I'm asking this because I have seen games with great graphics do terribly because the creators did not ask their audience what gameplay elements they actually like.

I actually plan to add all of these elements, but not all at once. So, which ones do you want to see first/more of?
