Patreon Payment Method Problems?

Hey guys!

So I heard that a lot of users right now are dealing with payment-related problems like credit cards getting rejected. And I've read somewhere this may be due to a new payment processor. So given this, I think that there's a new relationship being established in the back end of things, and this sudden surge of new transactions using that relationship are triggering false positives. So if you're hit by this, among the solutions available are to:

1.) Re-add the payment method
2.) Re-add the card
3.) Prepaid Visa/Mastercard seems to not be supported right now? Maybe this'll come in later? <- This seems to work for some preloaded debit cards, so maybe support is coming in as they're whitelisted or something?
4.) Related to #3, "prepaid" Visa/Mastercards essentially are preloaded-debit cards, so this may or may not work?
5.) Call the bank or credit card provider to verify that your patreon related transactions are legit and aren't frauds.
6.) Get in touch with Patreon so they're aware of your problem and can probably help with at least their side of things.

I hope they get this sorted out soon. I think the solution here is two-sided, since the consumer needs to verify that the transaction is indeed, a false positive. 

One other thing, if you're using a VPN or something like that, always remember to disconnect from it when you're about to do something related to payment (ex: checkout page). Or else, chances are, your account will be flagged.
