Looking At Something Right Now

Hey folks!
I'm looking at naSO4's art right now (yes, the same one that did Wolf Tail, see here: https://www.pixiv.net/member.php?id=3981555 ), now the thing is, I think we can work together, but there are some things I need to keep in mind:
1.) The guy is open to working with me, but he's also pretty busy so art updates will take a long time, probably. Availability is not soon.
2.) Quality is top notch, no doubt about that, but in these western parts, I don't know if his works are as well known as other artists of the H kind.
3.) Given quality is top notch, he's at the same level of premium as the artist for Re:Maid, if not a little more.
4.) RnO is a relatively big game. All in all, v0.6.0, has 29,500 lines of dialog, so I can't just plunk in new graphics as major as this just like that. This affects sprites and special scenes, and will have to do this slowly.
I was looking into art alternatives for Ramen no Oujisama - I mean make no mistake, the original art style will always be my art, and will always be there. The alternative art feature is an experiment I was looking into that lets you choose which art style you want to play with. Since this hasn't happened yet, I don't know to what extent this is going to be possible yet, so all this is in my head for now.
So given that, would you guys appreciate NaSO4's art style? Just polling to see how many of you like his stuff.
If I do decide to proceed with this collab, I'll probably be looking at making those free web games that are single-scene, single-kink, single-character scenarios to test these out and (make for fresh marketable stuff lol) So maybe Ramen no Oujisama characters. It may be something completely different, too.
To summarize: He's good, and he's expensive, so I need to know if this is going to be worth it.

I agree with the "don't change style now" crowd. The game is too far along in development to warrant an expensive artist. Now if you wanted to do some post developmental improvements then that's fine, but don't bog yourself down with having to delay development of the game for all the current content to be updated. It's just a bad idea, I think.

2018-05-18 21:32:14 +0000 UTCMaking large stylistic decisions this late into the process is just going to complicate things for you guys. Keep it simple yo.
2018-05-14 23:14:20 +0000 UTCKeep Ramen as it is. Maybe let him do Summertime? Or another completely different game down the line

2018-05-14 21:54:27 +0000 UTCRnO already stands on its own as a high quality product, with its own style. I wouldn't want to see it change mid-stream either. Maybe on a future product bring in another artist, but not at this point in RnO.

2018-05-14 20:36:58 +0000 UTCKeep RnO your own style, but it may be worth making a few games with him to see how it works out

2018-05-14 18:42:06 +0000 UTCI'd be happy to see a collab, but I feel that at this juncture, RnO should be finished in the same style as it started. Perhaps a collab after all the routes are done, or on a new game in the future?

2018-05-14 12:12:07 +0000 UTCIm with Philip on this I like the guys work and seen his stuff before, but really dont think there needs to be a change of art and all the work thatll cause this far in. Maybe next project / one of the side projects

2018-05-14 03:33:49 +0000 UTCHonestly, I voted for "Yes" and "No". I realize that's kind of a cop out, but I'm no good at this sort of thing. Yeah, his art is good and stuff.... but it doesn't feel like RnO to me, either.

2018-05-14 03:12:46 +0000 UTCKeep in mind how impatient you were with the Moulin Brush guys...with his timetable we're no longer talking about weeks but month...please keep the current style.
