The future of the project

It's been 10 months since the first version of Way of Corruption, it's amazing how time goes by!

The amount of things that I have learned throughout these months is something incredible, a little over a year ago I was just contemplating the idea of creating a game, of the options that I thought, it was Nora's story that I liked the most, also I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to learn how to create these types of games

It is incredible how people have liked this project, its characters and its story. Even though I know I have a LOT of things to do, know that I always try to give you my best. And part of this is fixing my mistakes and planning things so that I can give you what I have seen you ask for from the first month. MORE CONTENT.

As I mentioned a while ago there will be a point where the game will need many H scenes to move forward, well we are about to reach that moment. I have been thinking about how to provide the necessary art for this phase that is approaching and I have come to the conclusion that I need to maximize the resources of the project and again modify the levels of the Patreon.

This new reward plan that I will present below is created based on the comments of different fans of the game (Patreons and not Patreons).

• Knight level:
• -You will have access to the previews of the Patreon content.
• -You will have access to the most recent version of the game with 4 weeks of delay.

• Rogue Knight level:
• -You will have access to the previews of the Patreon content.
• -You can vote to select which character route you would like to have an H scene.
• -You will have access to the most recent version of the game with 2 weeks of delay.

• Royal Knight level:
• -You will have access to the previews of the Patreon content.
• -You can vote to select which character route  you would like to have an H scene.
• -You will have access to the most recent version of the game with 1 week of delay.
• -You will have access to all the art of the game in its original quality (Only the final version of drawings. Things like Sketches, lines and base colors will disappear).

• Church / Holy Knight level:
• -You will have access to the previews of the Patreon content.
• -You can vote to select which character route  you would like to have an H scene.
• -You will have access to the most recent version of the game immediately.
• -You will have access to all the art of the game in its original quality (Only the final version of drawings. Things like Sketches, lines and base colors will disappear).
• -If you like, you can have an NPC with a greeting, phrase or personalized comment.

• Knight Commander level:
• -You will have access to the previews of the Patreon content.
• -You can vote to select which character route you would like to have an H scene.
• -You will have access to the most recent version of the game immediately.
• -You will have access to all the art of the game in its original quality (Only the final version of drawings. Things like Sketches, lines and base colors will disappear).
• -You can have a short H scene (2 to 3 images, Restrictions apply) after one month of being a memeber of this tier (To avoid any type of scam on the part of some people towards the project). (If you maintain the level for 6 months you can have another custom H scene, for a maximum of 2 per year).

• Lord level:
• -You will have access to the previews of the Patreon content.
• -You can vote to select which character route you would like to have an H scene.
• -You will have access to the most recent version of the game immediately.
• -They will have access to all the art of the game in its original quality.
• -You can have a normal H scene (5 to 6 images, Restrictions apply) after one month of being a memeber of this tier (To avoid any type of scam on the part of some people towards the project). (If you maintain the level for 6 months you can have another custom H scene, for a maximum of 2 per year).

THE SCENES OF THE PATREONS WILL BE COMMISSIONED TO THE ARTIST IN THE ORDER IN WHICH THE MEMBERS ARE ADDED. THE SCENES OF THE PATREONS WILL BE INCLUDED IN THE GAME IN THE BEST POSSIBLE WAY FOR THE NARRATIVE, EITHER AS FANTASIES OF SOME NPC, DREAMS, SCENES OF SOME ROUTE OR EVENTS OF THE PATROLS, ETC.

NEW RELEASE OF EVERY UPDATE EVERY TWO MONTHS:

The intention of this change, in addition to having a little more time to make the updates, is to maximize resources, since we are not only adding the monthly H scene of each month (For a total of 2) there is also the reward of the Patreons (Another total of 2 that for the next update will be 2 short scenes). But as the project funds go up, it would be possible to comission 1 extra scene (Or whatever is necessary at that time) with the money raised for 2 months (So we do not wait for 500 to increase the number of H scenes). This would make each update have a good amount of H content that will make us all happy

(Currently with the status of the project, it is possible for me to pay for one scene per month and one reward from Patreon. If we put these 2 together with those of the following month, then we are talking about an update of 2 scenes and 2 rewards from Patreon which in this case are 2 short scenes).

That is why even if the updates will be every two months, I would like to keep the Patreon charging on a monthly basis, because only then, can I guarantee the number of H-scenes previously mentioned.

(For now, 2 scenes and 2 patreon rewards).

WHAT WILL THE PROJECT MONEY BE USED FOR?

The goal (Reaching 500 dollars on Patreon) is to be able to pay for 2 monthly scenes and a Patreon reward per month. Being the release of each update every two months we are talking about 4 scenes and 2 rewards from Patreon (These numbers are subject to change, because it is possible that sometimes the artist cannot create so many drawings for one reason or another or it is necessary to order portraits of a character or several instead of a scene).

In addition, as the project grows I would like to have a fund that allows me to buy necessary programs for the PC, pixel art for the characters and a chair so that I can work (Those who talk to me constantly, already know that my current chair is in a deplorable state).

WHEN WILL EACH UPDATE BE RELEASED?

The idea is to release each update during the last weekend of the second month (In this case it would be November 26, 27 or 28) but it is always possible that there is some kind of delay that is beyond my control. Once the update is released for the Patreons with immediate access to it, the counting of the days for the release of the update for the other tiers begins. Being the public release a month after that of the Patreons with priority.

The plan is to apply all these changes during the last weekend of October.
