The previous girl known as Harriet Potter, was given the name of Victoria Black and adopted into the Black family, where she was raised and taught everything by her adoptive mother, Cassiopeia, and her Godfather, Sirius.
Her adoptive family would later die tragically in a trap set up by the evil Headmaster of Hogwarts, Albus Dumbledore, who seemed to regain his control over the Girl Who Lived.
