I'm so glad you're enjoying this show! It does take a few episodes to really get into a lot of the time, but by this point it's hard not to be invested in the characters. Loved seeing a bit of Marilla's backstory this episode. Also, for what's going on with Matthew, it is very vague after this episode. I don't think I've seen anyone who knew what was going on exactly at this point. Can't believe there's only one episode left in this season!

It’s so fun getting immersed in the world which is easy to do because it was made so well. I love the Cuthberts more with each episode. Anne I can tell is a fellow neurodivergent for sure! She’s definitely got that high sensitivity and I’d guess maybe adhd too- it’s not an easy combo speaking from experience, but it keeps life interesting! 🤣 LOVED her bonding with Miss Josephine this ep. What a great way to include portrayal of things that would’ve been looked down upon by many at that time- never marrying, living with another woman, wanting to be valued for your brain/personality, deciding what’s best for you over what what others want/expect from you. Amazing. My heart did break for Marilla though 😢
