Hunt is such a child sometimes. He is the king of making things personal at work when he should be focusing on the patient

2025-04-10 18:57:03 +0000 UTCIt’s no question to me that Alex has had the best character development. When Derek died, there was probably like a year time jump with all of the holidays if you can’t recall. So, I personally think that is it time for Meredith to get back into it and see what she really wants.

2025-03-26 23:45:45 +0000 UTCI completely adore Alex Karev, and yes I agree that he has had the best story arc and character growth. TBH though I loved him from S1, he was one of my favorites from the beginning cause I even though on the outside he was a bit of an AH they wrote him with glimpses of layers, and JC played him so well that you could tell there was more depth to him. As for the episode in general, I really loved Mer and the therapist, as well as seeing Riggs and Owen more together so in sync. It was perfection.

2025-03-24 04:01:12 +0000 UTCI love this episode. I definitely agree that Alex has one the best character arcs and growth in the series. I love him so much and the way that he fights and shows up for those kids is everything to me. If you'll allow me to get personal for a sec, this episode always hits me a certain way. In some ways, I was that kid. I'm in my 40s now, but I've dubbed myself the medical mishap child. I've been through a LOT medically - then and now. But when I was 9 I had a mysterious (non-cancerous) tumor in my throat, and then when I was 13 and 16 years old I had two very invasive spinal surgeries for extreme scoliosis and kyphosis. For both they went through my ribs and collapsed a lung to get to my spine. I woke up from both on ventilators and with new medal hardware. The first had a 3 year recovery time and the second had a 3-5 year recovery time. I was the one who comforted my mom as I was going through it all... Those are things that happened to me, but none of it certainly conveys what that feels like to go through something like that... the way it affects you. I have a lot to say about what it's like to be a patient... and how hard it can be to advocate for yourself, but I am SO grateful that a show like Grey's is touching on those topics. We need more of it!! Thanks for reading, if you did. And thanks for your reactions and comments as always, Travis!

Richard's face when he realised he's been talking about his daughter with Deluca was too funny ha ha. I forgot about that. Your reaction was great. Can't wait for you to see more of that season.

2025-03-20 23:16:34 +0000 UTCRiggs is hot, like really hot. Also, all those doctors should have mandatory therapy. Jo is an idiot, Alex is an IMMEDIATE yes.

2025-03-20 17:25:57 +0000 UTCHonestly the show really should incorporate more therapy for the doctors considering the trauma a lot of them go through. You’d think Alex would have went to therapy considering his growth from season 1. He had his childhood, his messy exes, being shot. That’s a lot of baggage to unpack by yourself.
