Yeah the scene between Rachel and Chandler was a nice moment of friendship, I loved it. Also, saaaame I would eat that flan too.

I absolutely love the scene with Rachel and Chandler, it was sweet that they were able to bond from both having divorced parents and he could help her through that. We've never really seen just the two of them interact before by themselves and they had such great chemistry. I don't mean in a romantic sort of way but just as actors/characters. I also love that everyone was wearing green since that's Rachel's last name, it was a really cute touch.

We shall💜 Not a Rachel fan but I like her and Chandler

I love how hard everyone worked to make Rachel's day special before she even found out both her parents showed up to her party. Like that's a true group of friends... And this episode was the first episode where I thought Chandler was the one out of the 3 guys who make the best husband/boyfriend. And I still stand by this statement. His character has been my crush since I was like 16 or 17. Everything about his personality is the best.

Such a funny one, Joey kissing Rachel's mum cracks me up every time. Rachel was so disgusted lmao. 😂😂

Loooove this one!

this is such a classic episode ! great comedy, there’s heart at the core of it, and a really fun and contained premise. classic friends. Rachel and Chandler are my fav duo, maybe because we don’t get to see just the two of them in a storyline together often, but i just think they’ve got great chemistry, and the moment they shared in this episode was really sweet

I love Phoebe sneaking people out of Monica's party. It's so funny. "We hear you can get people out..." That conversation between Rachel and Chandler is one of my favorites. You rarely see those two in a scene where it's just the two of them, and it was so sweet to see them connect over shared parental "stuff." (It makes good writing sense too, because I think they're the only ones with divorced parents.) And I love how Chandler gave her a hug and then carefully transferred her over to Ross. Truly adorable.

Yeah I love how the show has its serious and emotional moments in between the humour. My parents didn't get divorced until I was an adult either. Honestly it wasn't hard for me because I think they should have gotten divorced way before, for things that are hard to go into detail but mainly due to abuse and my dad's alcoholism. My parents were constantly fighting and my dad was abusive (emotionally, physically & financially towards my mum and emotionally towards me & my sisters). So I actually wished they'd get a divorce because it was just so toxic. I'm very close with my mum, not as close with my dad, but even when we lived together I wasn't that close with him as he was very emotionally distant. I love that scene with Rachel & Chandler and him "handing her off" to Ross. Rachel and Chandler's friendship is one of the most underrated friendships in the series in my opinion. Matthew and Jennifer were actually really close and in his memoir he said she had reached out the most during his darkest times. I feel like that's why they had such great chemistry. Btw, "What would Jack and Chrissy do?" is a reference to characters in the 70's/80's sitcom Three's Company who were often finding themselves in uncomfortable or compromising situations.

Oh, Joey thinking on his feet by suddenly kissing Rachel's mom while turning her away from view 🤣🤣🤣 Monica, your party was so bad, that I'll give you that "victory" at the end. You deserve like 0.01% of the credit lol. Phoebe set them free 🤣🤣🤣
