The April and Jackson thing is such a lose lose type of thing. April did what she needed to feel better and deal with the grief of losing their baby, but the Jackson didn't have her support to help him deal with his grief. But if April stayed then she probably wouldn't have been able to deal with her grief the way she needed and would have been putting her mental health at stake trying to help support Jackson though his grief and hers. So messy.

2025-02-21 00:27:29 +0000 UTCYour comment at the end is funny because I have a friend who once told me the same exact thing. He is a 6’7” trombone player and he said whenever someone was tall enough to look directly in his eyes it made him feel threatened, because so few people do.

2025-02-21 00:16:24 +0000 UTCThat episode was good but felt more chill somehow, if that makes sense. Kepner in the bubble was quite funny at times. And I know you don't like the idea of Amelia and Owen together but I do. Can't wait to see you react to the rest of the season.

2025-02-20 21:58:19 +0000 UTCI think April was justified in going, especially if the grief was killing her as she said. But the problem here is that she just expects Jackson to be okay with it and to do things on her terms. That is very wrong imo, she doesn’t understand Jackson needed her to stay. But damn even when April is in the wrong Sarah Drew will put on a show. That woman can act 😂

2025-02-20 18:54:03 +0000 UTCaw i just love me some Richard Webber😭 he really does give the best pep talks and honestly April kinda pissed me off this episode. paging Jackson 911 while he was in the middle of that crazy ass surgery?? insane. to do that to talk about something that he already has made kinda clear his position on. he told her if she was going to go again, he wouldn’t be waiting for her, something along those lines i think i remember. when Jackson said this marriage has been full of her ultimatums, he kinda ate her up. because when you look back, he has been the one more likely to have to change to compromise for her. with her religion, her mother, how she needed to grieve Samuel, i do think his feelings are quite valid unfortunately because they really are my fav couple

2025-02-20 18:52:42 +0000 UTCI realize that every case is different but I feel like the whole “characters can’t decide what course of treatment to pursue and find a compromise” plot line has been done to death in this show. Still a fun episode regardless. It feels like they gave April a tan job or something to make it look like she got back from the Middle East. New interns are pretty fun too so far.

2025-02-20 17:53:03 +0000 UTCI ran here so fast! That actress really is tall, she’s 6’8” but they did have her in block heels to get that 7’2” height for the ep. granted Bailey is very small so she looked that much taller in her presence 🤣
